Volunteers Add Sparkle to the Community
They brought the holiday spirit with them: (left to right) Lorraine, Brian, Vicki, Jane, and Mary, with Janice King, our director of resident services.
“Thank you all for hosting such a wonderful party at Bella Monte! It gave residents a reason to come out and socialize with their neighbors and meet our CCIH staff! To our friends Brian, Vicki, Lorraine, Jane, and Mary, thank you for the delicious spread, wonderful prizes, gift bags and bags of groceries. Because of the care and thought that you put into this effort, everyone left with smiles and gifts in their hands. The goodwill that we created yesterday evening was priceless – and the holiday spirit, bright and luminous!” Belinda Sullivan, director of outreach at Contra Costa Interfaith Housing (CCIH), sent this much deserved thank you to these great volunteers.
CCIH coordinates teams of volunteers at both Bella Monte and Los Medanos Village. Our heartfelt thanks to all for making a difference!
