Resident Services
We bring elderly neighbors out of their apartments and into the community room and the neighborhood. We help kids get more out of school. We counsel families as they develop options for education, home ownership, or a better job. Families who already have to stretch their resources to make ends meet are especially hit by the economic downturn. We want them to maintain their housing and gain financial stability and we have a proven program that does just that.
Our Resident Services Program offers free onsite supportive services that range from benefits coordination, job search assistance, and eviction prevention to delivery of grocery bags and afterschool programs for kids. We also offer an array of educational and informational programs, including computer training, English as a Second Language and GED classes, health and nutrition workshops, social events, and monthly tenant meetings. We tailor our programs to fit the needs of residents at each property. Here's where our focus was this past year:
